  • A new “Hockey Wives” reality series will debut on Canada’s W network this February. Two of the cast members are Noureen DeWulf (wife of Ryan Miller) and Nicole Brown (wife of Dustin Brown). The show is expected to have a positive focus instead of salacious nature of the “Basketball Wives” series. (Puck Daddy)
  • Despite the fact that it would generate significant revenue, the NHL has shut the door to selling advertising space on the front of NHL jerseys…for now at least. (TSN)

  • The Saskatoon Blades have acquired goaltender Michael Herringer from the Victoria Royals in exchange for conditional draft picks in the WHL Bantam Draft. Herringer impressed in pre-season action, registering a 1.64 GAA and .932SV% with the Royals. (WHL)
